The Patchogue-Medford School District sponsors a self-supporting before and after-school program. The before school program hours are 7:00 a.m. until the start of school, and the after-school program hours are from the close of school until 6:15 p.m. Parents may enroll their eligible children in either or both programs. Both programs provide affordable, responsible and caring supervision for elementary school children during the periods of time when parents are working and children are not in school.
Parents may register their children in either or both programs by completing a 2018-2019 Childcare Application. A $25.00 one time, non-refundable registration fee, in addition to a monthly calendar with tuition for that month is due at the time of registration. Registration can be initiated at any time during the academic year. Staff to child state ratios must be maintained at all times, therefore, registration at times may be limited. The childcare office requires receipt of the application at least seven days prior to the child’s first day of attendance. Parents must register their children each year the child participates in the program.
